Calworks:
The CalWorks Housing Assistance program is a government initiative aimed at providing crucial support to eligible families. Their services include homeless assistance, and relocation programs. Housing Disability Advocacy Program:
The Housing Disability Advocacy Program is a program who helps disabled people reciente Social Security Disability Benefits. They have advocacy services that help guide people through the social security system. You must apply and be accepted for the housing disability advocacy program before receiving their benefits. Independent Living Skills Program:
The Independent Living Skills Program provides services to youth in foster care between the ages of 16- 21. They strive to find all eligible youth, and provide resources that will prepare them for responsible adulthood and independence. Catholic Charities East Bay:
In their Contra Costa Housing section, catholic charities assist with rent payment, utilities, and security deposits. An additional service of theirs is their housing problem solving. This program offers tenant advocacy, mediation, and relocation with families and other homelessness prevention. Adult Protective Services (Homesafe):
Adult Protective Services responds to confidential reports from anyone who suspects a disabled adult or senior is being abused or neglected. They have a 24 hour hotline with staff members read to speak at any given moment. When a case is opened, an Adult Protective Services social worker will be assigned to the case.

Contra Costa County Housing List
for Seniors and Adults with Disabilities:
This document shows a plethora of resources for seniors and adults with disabilities. Some of the information they provide are how to apply for low cost housing, subsidized low income housing definitions, and senior assistance and housing lists.

Bay Area Rescue Mission:
Bay Area Rescue Mission is a Christian nonprofit organization who offer food, shelter, clothing, or any critical care to homeless people.

Insight Housing (Berkeley Food & Housing Project):
Insight housing has the sole goal to ensure everyone in their community has a home through supportive, equitable, and sustainable housing solutions. Their services include veteran services, outreach, permanent and traditional housing, food services, continued holistic care, and real estate development.

Calli House Youth Center:
Calli House Youth Center is a shelter in west contra costa, they allow drop ins and have housing. Their services include Emergency Shelter
Housing, Counseling, Health Care Services, Legal Services, Family Reunification, Employment Assistance, Peer Support Groups, Linkages to substance abuse and mental health treatment, School Enrollment, Meals, showers, laundry facilities, mail service, and Transportation Assistance.

The Concord Adult Shelter is an emergency shelter program for adults. Their services include Meals, Laundry facilities, Mail, Telephones, Case management (resources, advocacy, and guidance), Referrals. They have two locations, one in Concord and the other is in Richmond.

Home match is a program that allows people to turn an available room in their home into a rented out room for someone in need. They have a sharing and finding homes section.

Echo Housing:
Echo housing has the goal to promote equal housing access, as well as provide support services to aid in the prevention of homelessness and promote permanent housing conditions. They have fair housing services, first time home buyer counseling, and rental assistance programs.

Eden Housing assists people in finding affordable housing for low-income families. They have their own housing, and use an application process to join.
